When I’ve paused to look and I’ve pondered to see – really see – what 2016 offers on the way out and 2017 offers on the way in, inevitably I feel a bit like Scrooge of old. “Ghosts” of past, present, and future come for a visit – and I’m invited to remember.
To ponder is to reflect. Deeply. Honestly. Courageously. It is looking into all the dark corners and hidey-holes of ego. Bringing to light those aspects of self & my past-actions that shame would have me use as a weapon. A weapon against myself, others, and in my relationships.
So… In prep for wrapping up 2016, I thought I’d take a page from others I’ve enjoyed learning from recently (Michael Hyatt & Stu McLaren) about how to “version 2.0” goals & actions for the new year. It’s not about “resolutions.” Too often those die on the vine before they’ve even had a chance.
